In New York, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across New York on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese are increasingly common but often cost a few dollars extra, and cross-contact in a shared oven is standard unless the shop says otherwise.

New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and New York follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Would not return Overhyped imo Seems queues are less these days The pros: super thin crust and impressive flat structure. Edge crust is unique given sourdough? But very dry The pizza fresh from the oven was naturally amazing but after sitting for just a bit hardens up a lot - suspect most would not be able to eat the crust For the tomato pizza - garlic sauce overpowering Tldr definitely fresh quality ingredient given price but the dryness was an overwhelming memory

Ceres Pizza just served the best pizza Iโ€™ve ever had. We got the nduja, which comes to $74 and honestly, it was worth every penny. The crust was crispy, not greasy, and loaded with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The flavor was insaneโ€”sweet, salty, and savory in every bite, with nothing overpowering anything else. It was just perfectly balanced. The only real downside was the wait. Even at 6 PM, we waited about an hour. But youโ€™re in a great spot (between Chinatown and Little Italy) so you can definitely kill time shopping or walking around while you wait.

Itโ€™s been 7 years since I came to NYC and Iโ€™m back for a work trip, my husband recco this place, we are pizza lovers! I remember on my first date with him I said best pizza in the world is in NYC, he said Napoli. Our second date we travel to Napoli and I changed my whole perspective over pizza, it's true they are so different it's difficult to compare, but at that moment I was a Napoli pizza fan. We got married, we have a baby, and I havenโ€™t come back since! My husband told me "go to Ceres and let me know what you think." I went alone... and I heard this old guy eating this pizza outside saying "omg dude this pizza is spiritual" hahaha and I said damn I need to try itโ€ฆ I did and what a trip it has been! I called my husband and ate my pizza while he was watching, and he was just cheering me up like I was his favorite soccer team winning! I mean it IS spiritual. That crust, that crispiness, that sauce. I ate half and took the other half to walk with me on my last day in NYC. (My favorite date, and he knows that) It was really is spiritual.

Must purchase a whole pie; come early to put in your order and come back to pick it up at a later hour. Based on strictly the taste, texture, and enjoyability of the pizza, 5 fricken stars. Had the Spicy Vodka and it was amazing. Its thin crust but holds its shape. The flavour was amazing. We arrived at 12:30PM on a Friday and was told the pizza wouldnโ€™t be ready until 2PM. Fortunately an unclaimed Spicy Vodka pizza was ready at that time and I am not one to turn down spicy vodka sauced pizza. The pie is HUGE but there are smaller takeout boxes if you need to take leftovers to go.

Two former Eleven Madison Park chefs decided to open a pizza joint, so you already know your boy had to pull up. โ€‹There are no walk-up slices hereโ€”whole pies only. It was packed, so I had to use maximum tactical efficiency. I spotted a few women waiting in line, executed a flawless negotiation, and convinced them to team up on a two-pie operation: one classic Cheese, one Nduja. We secured the goods, split the assets, and I went on my way. โ€‹First up: The Cheese Pie (San Marzano tomatoes, scamorza, mozzarella, premium olive oil). Cracker-crisp crust, zero flop, absolute perfection. 100% worth the hype. โ€‹Next: The Nduja Pie. Spicy Calabrian pork sausage, creamy fresh burrata, and a drizzle of 9-year aged balsamic. Bro. Unbelievable. Easily one of the best slices in NYC. โ€‹If you find yourself in New York, you don't just eat pizzaโ€”you make executive moves for it. Ceres is an absolute must-stop. ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ”ฅ
